Christi R. Suzanne is a writer who grew up in the dry heat of the Arizona desert with roots that point back to Ohio. She moved to the Pacific Northwest over sixteen years ago for a mistier climate and now resides in Oregon. By day she works at a university as a communications professional where she is the editor of the quarterly newsletter, Connections, and writes student profiles and occasionally articles. In addition, she writes novels, short stories, and personal essays. She was co-prose editor for the summer 2015 prose submissions for VoiceCatcher online literary journal.
As Christi R. Suzanne I participated in Liars League Portland and my piece, "The Matchbook Room" was performed by an actor. I have flash fiction or short stories in Harpur Palate (forthcoming), Midwestern Gothic, the online journals Eunoia, Foliate Oak, and The Gravity of the Thing, among others. I am a member of The Order of the Good Death founded by Caitlin Doughty. I work as a technology and communications professional for a higher education healthcare institution. In addition, I am a member of Willamette Writers.
Incidentally, I am a sleeping dog enthusiast.
